Bodybuilding and acting legend Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on the latest episode of the popular Kelce podcast to discuss his iconic life and career.

The Terminator famously traded Hollywood for politics in 2003 when he became the 38th governor of California, a position he held until 2011.

The 76-year-old isn’t planning to get back into politics anytime soon, but entertained the idea for one brief moment when sitting down with the Kelce siblings recently.

“Arnold Schwarzenegger as President,” Jason put out there during the conversation.

Arnie then jokingly vowed to make one major Super Bowl move if he were to ever make it to The Oval Office.

We would have the Super Bowl on the South Lawn of the White House,” Arnie joked.

“That I can guarantee you right now.”

The brothers burst into laughter as Travis exclaimed, “That’s what I’m talking about!”

The movie star then added that his suggestion wan’t without precedent, as President John F. Kennedy used to host sports events right outside the White House when he was in office.

Of course, Arnie’s pledge was tongue in cheek, and it’s unclear if he could ever actually become US President given president and vice presidents must be a natural-born citizen of the United States.

Arnold was born in Thal, Styria, Austria in 1947 and moved to the United States at age 21 in 1968 to pursue his bodybuilding and acting dreams.

The Kelces teased the appearance of the Predator actor on Monday, although fans immediately assumed it was Taylor Swift who’d be the special guest.

“Any guesses at tomorrow’s guest?” the New Heights’ official X account shared.

However, Jason swiftly put the rumours to bed by confirming it was indeed Schwarzenegger.

“Listen, my heart is pumping right now – because we have the king of pump in the building”, Jason said

The originator of pumping iron. Our guest today is seven-time Mr Olympia, the former Governor of California.

“He has grossed an estimated $4billion at the box office. You know him from some of your favorite movies like Commando, True Lies, Kindergarten Cop, Jingle All The Way… it’s the god damn Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger!”

The Kelce’s podcast continues to go from strength to strength, with Schwarzenegger arguably representing the show’s biggest coup – which is saying a lot when they’ve had Kansas City superstar Patrick Mahomes on before.

The Kelces launched their award-winning podcast in September 2022, just months before they met in Super Bowl LVII – dubbed the ‘Kelce Bowl’ – where Travis’ Chiefs beat Jason’s Eagles, 38-35.

‘New Heights’ has steadily risen in popularity and in January the brothers announced the show had accumulated more than 2 million YouTube subscribers, a total that has since climbed to more than 2.4 million.

The show’s success was recognised at the recent iHeartMedia’s 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards where ‘New Heights’ took home the prize of podcast of the year.

“Listen, this is an incredible honor, especially for two jabronis like us, to receive an award like this is beyond humbling and we would be remiss if we didn’t immediately thank all of the 92 percenters [their fanbase] out there — aka Swifties — who voted for us to win this award,” Jason said.
