Chiefs replace Travis Kelce, support Patrick Mahomes in 3-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft
The Kansas City Chiefs might be just a few weeks away from embarking on a quest to win their third consecutive Super Bowl, but that won’t stop Brett Veach and the front office from looking forward to the 2025 NFL Draft.
Kansas City is still lacking in weapons for Patrick Mahomes, and their succession plan for Travis Kelce could use an upgrade. The offensive tackle spot continues to be a problem, and one more defensive lineman in the mix couldn’t hurt things.
The Chiefs already have cracked the NFL code as they continue to pile up the championships, but they need to keep reinforcing their talent to stay strong. Following this line of logic in the 2025 Draft could keep them atop the NFL pyramid.
Even with Noah Gray’s extension, the Chiefs could stand to add a tight end with a higher ceiling. As good as Travis Kelce is, he is on the back nine of his career. The Chiefs would be wise to spend one of their top picks in a very promising tight end class on a player like Warren who can start immediately in the pros.
