Ellen DeGeneres BREAKS DOWN After Justin Bieber SUED Her For Misusing Him When He Was A Minor.
Five months ago, a rumor surfaced online claiming that singer Justin Bieber had filed a lawsuit against comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. The claim was initially shared in a video on YouTube by the channel Shocked on April 24, 2024.
“Ellen DeGeneres BREAKS DOWN After Justin Bieber SUED Her For Misusing Him When He Was A Minor,” the video’s caption read.
The video quickly gained attention online, amassing over 189,572 views, 2,700 likes, and 566 comments at the time of writing.
However, this widely circulated rumor has been debunked. According to Snopes, there is no legal documentation to support the allegations, nor has any major news outlet covered the story. Additionally, the bio of the YouTube channel Shocked identifies it as “your ultimate destination for celebrity gossip,” suggesting that its content is likely created for entertainment purposes.
Earlier this year, a video made rounds on social media claiming that Justin Bieber was suing Ellen DeGeneres for “misusing” him when he was underage. The video, uploaded by the YouTube page Shocked, featured a title image with the words “Exclusive: Ellen Slept with Justin.”
The video also included a collage of three pictures: one of Ellen hugging Justin from behind, another of Ellen with disgraced hip-hop mogul Sean Combs, and the last showing DeGeneres with tears in her eyes. Despite being 20 minutes and 16 seconds long, the video failed to provide any evidence to back up the claim.
Instead, it showed various clips from Ellen DeGeneres’ past interactions with Justin Bieber, including appearances on her former talk show, where Bieber was a guest 37 times over the years, according to Snopes.
Additionally, the video featured snippets of the singer from old interviews and events, such as his meetings with his former mentor, Diddy. However, none of the content provided legitimate proof that Bieber had filed a lawsuit against the multiple-time Daytime Emmy winner.
